DELTAPLUS Omega II Type 1 Class E

This hard hat provides ANSI Z89.1 Type 1 Class E head protection with a front brim and a 6-point ratchet suspension. The polyethylene shell fits hat sizes 6-1/2 to 8 and comes in dark blue without graphics or venting. It is designed for general worksite use where crown impact and electrical insulation are required.

Workers needing crown impact

This helmet suits workers who need a Type 1 Class E rated hard hat with an adjustable 6-point ratchet suspension for a secure fit. Buyers who require a vented shell, high-visibility colours, or a full brim for sun and rain runoff should look at other models. The non-vented polyethylene construction also makes it less suitable for prolonged wear in extreme heat.

ANSI Z89.1 Type 1 Class E rating

The decisive specification is the ANSI Z89.1 Type 1 Class E certification, which confirms the helmet meets crown impact and penetration requirements plus electrical proof-testing. This single classification determines whether the hard hat satisfies the safety standards mandated for your specific job site or regulatory environment.

Questions about this item

How long does the polyethylene shell maintain its impact resistance under daily site exposure?

The ANSI Z 89.1 Type 1 Class E rating confirms the shell meets penetration and electrical standards; replace the hat if the shell shows cracks, gouges or UV chalking.

Does the six-point ratchet suspension stay comfortable and cool during a full shift in direct sun?

The ratchet lets you micro-adjust fit without removing the hat, and the solid polyethylene shell has no vents, so heat builds up — consider a sweatband for long days.

What head-size range must the wearer fall into for this Omega II to fit securely?

The suspension adjusts from 6-1/2 to 8, covering most adult sizes; measure the wearer's circumference before ordering.
