Product Identity

The Ergodyne 18231 is a black wide soft cap knee pad brace designed for workers who need extended kneeling comfort. It uses hook-and-loop straps to secure the pad around the leg during floor-level tasks.

Interface Limits

The hook-and-loop closure system allows quick adjustment but can lose grip when covered in fine dust or heavy debris. Straps may require periodic readjustment during long shifts to maintain consistent compression.

Build & Daily Use

The soft cap construction distributes pressure across a broad surface without the rigidity of hard-shell alternatives. The wide profile reduces pressure points on the patella and surrounding tissue during prolonged contact with concrete or tile.

The wide soft cap distributes pressure across a larger surface area, reducing point-load discomfort on concrete, tile or timber during prolonged kneeling tasks.

What fastening standard does the hook-and-loop strap use and what adjustment range does it cover?

The brace uses a standard hook-and-loop interface that secures around the thigh and calf, allowing on-the-fly tightening or loosening without tools or fixed-size buckles.
