Cooling Bandana 6700

The Ergodyne Chill-Its 6700 cooling bandana uses polymer tie technology to lower skin temperature during hot work or outdoor activity. One size fits most head sizes and the flames pattern identifies the 12341 model.

Polymer cooling capacity

The bandana provides evaporative cooling for several hours before the polymer crystals require rehydration. It handles moderate heat and light exertion well, but runs out of cooling power in extreme humidity or sustained high-output labour.

Tie headband construction

The polymer-filled band ties at the back for a secure, adjustable fit that stays in place when bending or looking up. Because it is not washable, users must spot-clean only and replace the bandana once the crystals no longer absorb water.

Questions about this item

Will the 6700 Cooling Bandana fit over my existing hard hat or helmet?

The one-size-fits-most polymer tie headband adjusts to sit securely over most headwear while keeping the cooling fabric against your skin.

How do I know the 6700 bandana is cooling properly once I put it on?

You should feel an immediate drop in skin temperature as the polymer crystals activate; the effect lasts for hours before reactivation is needed.

Does the 12341 Flames package include the polymer cooling crystals or must they be purchased separately?

The cooling crystals are permanently embedded in the bandana fabric — nothing extra is required to start using it.
