Green Classroom Headset with Boom Mic

The Ergoguys AE-36 is a wired headset designed for education environments. It combines stereo headphones with a flexible boom microphone in a durable green housing. The single plug connection simplifies setup for student testing and daily classroom use. Sold as a single unit.

Suits schools needing rugged.

Ideal for computer labs, language classes and standardised testing where chew-resistant cords and wipe-clean vinyl earpads reduce replacement costs. Not for users who require wireless freedom, active noise cancellation, detachable cables or inline volume controls. Also unsuitable for buyers needing USB or dual-plug connectivity.

Single-plug 6-foot braided nylon cord

The fixed cable ends in one combined audio connector carrying both headphone and microphone signals. Length is six feet with a braided nylon jacket for added durability. This plug type fits combined headset ports on most laptops, tablets and Chromebooks. Verify the host device uses a single headset jack before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the flexible microphone boom is picking up my voice clearly after plugging in the headset?

Speak into the boom microphone while the single plug is connected; if your voice comes through without distortion on the receiving end, the microphone is working as intended.

What comes in the box and what must be purchased separately for the AE-36 headset?

The package contains one headset with vinyl earpads, a flexible boom microphone, and a 6 foot braided nylon cord ending in a single plug; no extra accessories are included.

Which version of the AE-36 headset should I choose for classroom testing?

The green model numbered 36 is the only version listed, so select that one for classroom and student testing use.
