Tenkeyless 97-key layout

The Ergoguys FK308S is a wired tenkeyless keyboard with 97 normal keys and an aluminium case in silver and white. It connects through a USB 2.0 cable and is aimed at Mac users who prefer a compact footprint without a numeric pad.

Wired USB 2.0 cable

The only bundled connection is the fixed USB 2.0 cable, so no separate cord or wireless receiver is supplied. There is no additional software or driver package mentioned, meaning the keyboard relies on the operating system’s built-in HID support for all key functions.

Verify Mac layout and USB-A port

Before ordering, confirm that the Mac-specific key legends match your workflow and that your computer has an available USB-A port for the 2.0 connector. Buyers who need a numeric keypad, wireless operation or a different key count should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How long do the Matias mechanical switches last before they need replacing?

The keyboard uses Matias mechanical switches rated for millions of keystrokes per key, so under normal typing they should not require replacement for many years

What is the first limitation I will hit during long typing sessions?

The tenkeyless layout removes the numeric keypad, so extended data entry that relies on a number pad becomes slower

Does the aluminum case get hot or noisy when I type all day?

The aluminium chassis stays cool and the mechanical switches produce a moderate click without any fan or active cooling noise
