Right-Angle USB-C Adapter

This two-pack of USB-C right-angle adapters adds a 90-degree turn to any USB-C connection, easing cable strain in tight spaces around laptops, tablets and gaming consoles. The L-shaped profile keeps cables flat against the device so they do not snag during play or work. Each adapter carries a male plug on one side and a female receptacle on the other for simple in-line use.

Thermals and Power Delivery

The adapters pass up to 240 watts of Power Delivery without active cooling, so they run silently while charging laptops, phones or handhelds at full speed. No fan or heatsink is required because the short signal path keeps resistance low during sustained loads. Power negotiation follows the USB PD 3.0 handshake already built into host devices.

40 Gbps Data and 8K Video

Each adapter supports 40 gigabits per second throughput, matching USB4 and Thunderbolt 3 bandwidth for fast file transfers and high-resolution displays. Video output reaches 8K at 60 hertz or 4K at 120 hertz on compatible hosts and monitors. Buyers who need longer cable runs or active signal boosting should choose a full-length active cable instead.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 90-degree USB-C adapter without stressing the port?

Align the flat right-angle connector with the device's USB-C port, insert straight in until fully seated, and route the attached cable away from the bend direction — forcing the cable toward the angled side is the common mistake that loosens the connection over time.

What maintenance or replacement will the adapter need later?

The adapter has no moving parts or firmware; inspect the USB-C contacts occasionally for dust or oxidation and replace the unit if the right-angle housing cracks or the connector feels loose during 40Gbps data or 240W charging sessions.

What limit appears first during sustained 240W charging and 40Gbps transfers?

The 90-degree housing concentrates heat from simultaneous 240W power delivery and 40Gbps throughput, so thermal throttling of the host port or cable typically occurs before the adapter's own electrical limits are reached.
