Questions about this item

How do I maintain the dual hinge bow mechanism on the HX Dual Monitor Arm?

Wipe the arm with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid lubricants on the dual hinge bow; the internal bearings are sealed for the product life.

What stops me from mounting two monitors wider than 32 inches on the Ergotron HX arm?

The arm is rated for two 32 monitors. Exceeding that width can prevent full extension and retraction motion.

Does the Ergotron 45-476-216 generate heat or noise when adjusted all day?

The arm has no motor or fan. It operates silently and produces no heat during height adjustment or extension and retraction.
