Three-outlet cart power strip

This Ergotron 97-703 strip adds three AC outlets to StyleView carts with a 6 ft integrated cord. It plugs into the upper storage area so equipment connects without routing cables to the base. The unit is UL certified and rated for 120 V at 50-60 Hz.

For StyleView cart integration

It suits technicians deploying SV42 or SV series carts who need convenient power access in the upper compartment. Builds that require surge protection, more than three outlets, or a different mounting style should look elsewhere.

Three AC outlets and 6 ft cord

The strip provides exactly three grounded outlets on a fixed 1.8 m cord, delivering AC 120 V power to cart-mounted devices. This outlet count and cord length determine whether the unit fits the cart’s power plan.

Questions about this item

Will the integrated 6 ft cord need replacing during the life of the Ergotron 97-703?

The cord is permanently attached to the power strip, so it cannot be swapped separately; if the cable is damaged the whole unit would need to be replaced.

What electrical limit will be reached first when the three outlets run continuously at 120 V?

The strip is UL listed for 120 V AC at 50 to 60 Hz, so the total connected load must stay within the branch-circuit rating that the UL listing assumes.

Does the 97-703 generate noticeable heat or noise when powering equipment all day inside a StyleView cart?

As a passive power strip with no fan or active components, it produces no audible noise and only minimal warmth from the current passing through its three outlets.
