Convenient Mouse Storage

The Ergotron 99-033-085 mouse holder provides a dedicated spot to keep a pointing device secure and off the work surface. It attaches using a hook-and-loop fastener for a firm hold without permanent mounting. The black finish suits professional and home office environments alike. This accessory helps reduce clutter for users who want their mouse stored neatly when not in use.

Simple Attachment Method

The hook-and-loop fastening system allows the holder to be fixed to a variety of flat surfaces without tools or adhesives that leave residue. It adds no active cooling, noise or power draw to the setup because it is a passive plastic and fabric accessory. Normal use involves only placing and removing the mouse, which is silent and requires no energy. There are no thermal or electrical considerations for this product.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the Ergotron 99-033-085 mouse holder using the hook-and-loop fastener, and what step is often missed?

Press the hook-and-loop strips firmly together on a clean, dry surface; the step often missed is allowing the adhesive backing to cure for several hours before placing a mouse on it.

What maintenance will the hook-and-loop fastener on the Ergotron 99-033-085 need over time?

Lint and dust reduce grip, so clean the hooks and loops regularly with a stiff brush or tape roller; replace the fastener strips when they no longer hold the mouse securely.
