Ergotron MXV Desk Monitor Arm 45-486-026

This Ergotron MXV Desk Monitor Arm mounts a single screen to a desk using the included clamp or grommet base. It provides height adjustment, tilt, pan and rotation so the display can be positioned for comfortable viewing. The arm is built for professional workspaces that value a clean desk surface and flexible screen placement. It arrives new and ready to assemble.

Suits users wanting a compact arm for one monitor

This arm supports only one display, so buyers needing to mount two or more screens should look at a dual-arm solution. It requires a desk thick enough for the clamp or a pre-drilled grommet hole, so glass tops or very thin surfaces may not work. No monitor is included with the arm.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 45-486-026 MXV desk monitor arm, and what step is often missed?

Clamp the arm base to the desk edge, attach the VESA plate to the monitor, then slide the monitor onto the arm; the step often missed is tightening the tension adjustment so the screen stays at the chosen height.

What maintenance or replacement will the 45-486-026 MXV desk monitor arm need later?

Periodically check and retighten the pivot bolts and tension screw; if the gas spring loses force over time, the arm may need a spring cartridge replacement to hold the monitor position.
