Industrial-Grade Watertight Locking Plug

The Ericson 2310-PW6P-AM is a NEMA L5-20P locking plug rated for 20 A at 125 V AC. It is built for industrial environments where moisture, chemicals or heavy vibration would damage standard connectors. The yellow thermoplastic elastomer housing resists corrosion and carries an antimicrobial surface.

IP69K Sealing for High-Pressure Washdown

This plug achieves an IP69K rating, meaning it withstands close-range, high-temperature, high-pressure water jets used in food-processing and heavy-equipment sanitation. The shrouded, three-blade, two-pole design locks securely to prevent accidental disconnection while maintaining a watertight seal during cleaning cycles.

Cable Range 0.47 in to 0.72 in

The plug accepts cables with outer diameters between 0.47 in and 0.72 in using standard wiring. It frees installers from sourcing special cord sets and suits single-phase equipment up to 1 hp. Builders needing a different NEMA configuration or a higher voltage rating must select another model.

Questions about this item

What does the 20 A rating mean when this plug is used on a real circuit?

It indicates the maximum continuous current the plug can carry at 125 V AC, so the connected load must not exceed 20 A on a properly protected branch circuit.

How does the L5-20P configuration limit what this plug can connect to?

The NEMA L5-20P arrangement provides a 2-pole, 3-blade locking interface rated for 125 V AC single-phase power, preventing accidental disconnection and mating only with matching L5-20R receptacles.

What cable diameters can physically fit through the housing?

The cord grip accepts cables from 0.47 in to 0.72 in outside diameter, and the yellow thermoplastic elastomer housing is shrouded for industrial-grade strain relief.
