The Eritech EK16 is a bronze alloy grounding connector designed for parallel burial applications. It accepts one grounding wire ranging from 8 AWG solid to 2 AWG stranded. The clamp connects wire to rebar sizes #4 through #8 or ground rods from 1/2 inch to 1 inch. It is UL listed for grounding and bonding.

Mechanical connector limits

This mechanical connector relies on physical tightening rather than exothermic welding or compression. Installation requires hand tools and access to the rod or rebar. The bronze alloy resists corrosion in direct burial conditions. It is not suitable for applications requiring irreversible connections or where mechanical fasteners are prohibited by local code.

Wire range and rod capacity

The connector handles a single ground wire within the 8 AWG solid to 2 AWG stranded range. It fits standard ground rods from 1/2 inch to 1 inch diameter and rebar from #4 to #8. Projects requiring multiple wires per clamp, larger conductors, or smaller rod sizes will need a different connector style.
