What you get

BattleJuice Alchemist is an Early Access action adventure game delivered as a Steam download code. You play as Juice, an alchemist exploring a dark wilderness once known as New England while fighting demons in isometric combat. The game features daytime and weather effects that influence both you and your enemies.

Steam platform limits

The code activates on Steam and requires a 64-bit Windows installation. DirectX 11 is the graphics API used by the title. Steam itself will only support Windows 10 or 11 from January 2024, so the listed minimum of Windows 7 will no longer be sufficient for the client.

Check your PC first

Verify that your processor meets at least an Intel i5 2.9 GHz quad core with 8 GB RAM and a GTX 960 for minimum play. For the recommended experience you need an Intel i7 8700K or AMD r5 3600, 16 GB RAM and a GTX 2060 Super or RX 5700 XT with 8 GB VRAM. Ensure 2 GB of free storage space is available.

What does the 2.9 GHz quad-core processor minimum mean for my actual gameplay?

An Intel i5 at 2.9 GHz with four cores meets the minimum to launch the game; expect playable performance at lower settings, while the recommended Intel i7 8700K or AMD r5 3600 will deliver smoother frame rates.

How does the DirectX 11 requirement cap what I can run?

The game requires DirectX 11, so it will run on Windows 7 or higher 64-bit systems; note that starting January 1st 2024 the Steam client only supports Windows 10 and later.
