12 inch S hooks for home organisation

These 12 inch S hooks come in a pack of six with black rubber caps on both ends. They are designed for hanging items such as kitchenware, utensils, clothing and plant baskets. The rubber caps help protect surfaces from scratches while items are suspended. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use across kitchens, garages, gardens and patios.

Heavy duty hooks under continuous load

The hooks are described as heavy duty and intended for sustained holding of pots, tools, towels and flower baskets. Their 1.7 inch opening width accommodates a variety of rod, rail or branch thicknesses. The black finish and rubber caps remain in place during extended use without marking the hung objects. No load rating or material grade is provided in the supplied data.

Simple hook installation and common issues

Installation requires no tools; each hook slides over a rod, rail or branch up to 1.7 inches wide. The long 12 inch shape allows items to hang lower, which can be useful for high pergolas or deep shelves. Potential issues include the rubber caps slipping off if knocked repeatedly and the hook rotating under uneven weight, causing items to slide toward the centre.

Questions about this item

Do the 12 inch hooks make noise or heat up when loaded all day?

These are passive metal hooks with rubber caps; they generate no noise, heat or power draw under continuous load.

What must I already own to use the 1.7 inch opening hooks?

You need a rod, rail or branch with a diameter smaller than 1.7 inches for the hook ends to grip securely.

Will the 12 inch length interfere with existing closet rods or pegboards?

The 12 inch drop extends below standard rods and pegboards, so items hang lower without clashing with the original hardware.
