What this receiver does

The Esinkin Bluetooth 4.0 audio receiver streams music wirelessly from a phone, tablet or computer to any powered speaker, home stereo or A/V receiver that has a 3.5 mm or RCA input. It is powered by the included AC adapter or USB cable and measures 1.96 in square by .9 in deep.

Who it suits and who should look elsewhere

It suits listeners who want a simple, button-pairing link for background music in a single room and who can place the receiver within 35 feet of the source device. Buyers who need aptX or LDAC codecs, multi-room synchronisation, a built-in battery for portable use, or transmitter capability to send audio from a non-Bluetooth source should choose a different product.

The spec that decides fit

Bluetooth 4.0 is the only wireless protocol supported, so the source device must use that version or fall back to it; no newer Bluetooth standards or proprietary codecs are available on this adapter.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Esinkin Bluetooth 4.0 receiver and what step do people often miss?

Plug the unit into a powered speaker or A/V receiver using the supplied 3.5 mm-to-RCA cable, connect the AC adapter or USB power cable, then press the single pairing button once to enter pairing mode; the step users skip is waiting for the LED to confirm pairing before streaming.

What maintenance or replacement will the Esinkin Bluetooth 4.0 receiver need later?

No routine maintenance is required; if the AC adapter or 3.5 mm-to-RCA cable fails, replace it with a standard 5 V USB power supply or equivalent audio cable.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the Esinkin Bluetooth 4.0 receiver?

The wireless range tops out at 15 metres (50 feet) in open space and drops to 35 feet with obstructions, so distance and interference are the first constraints.
