Capture interface and resolution

The ESTONE OZC1 is a USB 2.0 video capture device that accepts 4K input at 60 Hz and delivers 1080p output at up to 60 Hz. It connects HDMI sources such as cameras, consoles or PCs to a computer for recording or streaming.

Maximum output resolution

The single specification that decides fit is the 1920×1080 60 Hz capture ceiling; the device will not record or stream at 4K or at frame rates above 60 fps. If your workflow requires higher capture resolution or high-frame-rate passthrough, this unit will not meet the requirement.

Suitable for 1080p streaming workflows

Creators recording gameplay, webinars or camera feeds at 1080p 60 fps will find the OZC1 compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux and supported by OBS, VLC and similar software. Buyers who need 4K capture, 4K passthrough, or capture above 60 fps should look at a different device.

Questions about this item

What does the 1080p 30fps capture limit mean when I am streaming?

The device accepts a 4K 60Hz signal but encodes only up to 1080p at 30 frames per second over USB 2.0, so fast motion will not reach 60 fps on the recording.

How does the USB 2.0 connection restrict the maximum throughput?

USB 2.0 caps the capture bandwidth, forcing the output to 1080p 30fps even though the HDMI input can handle 3840x2160 at 60Hz.

Will the 64 x 28 x 13 mm enclosure fit behind my monitor without blocking adjacent ports?

The stick measures 64 mm long, 28 mm wide and 13 mm thick, so it sits flush in an HDMI port and leaves most neighbouring sockets clear.
