This ESTONE PQ057 two-pack connects USB-C devices to USB-A ports at up to 10 Gbps and delivers up to 60 W of power through a 3 A rated path. Each cable is 2 metres long with a braided nylon jacket and metal connector shells. The built-in 56 kΩ resistor ensures compliant current negotiation with the host.

Who it suits and who it does not

The cables work for charging phones, tablets and laptops that accept 5 V at 3 A or 20 V at 3 A through USB-C, and for moving large files between external SSDs and computers with USB-A sockets. They will not charge devices that require 4.5 V at 5 A or 5 V at 4 A proprietary protocols, and they carry no video signal so they cannot drive a display.

The spec that decides fit

The 10 Gbps data rate is only available when both the host port and the peripheral support USB 3.2 Gen 2; on USB 3.0 or 2.0 ports the transfer speed drops to the port's own limit.
