What it is and who needs it

The ESTONE PQ106 is a USB C extension cable that adds 1.6FT of reach between a host and a USB-C peripheral. It ships as a two-pack of male-to-female cords finished in black nylon braid with a reinforced fiber core rated for 20000 bend cycles. The cable suits anyone who needs extra length for charging, data or video without replacing the original device cable.

100W charging and 10Gbps data headroom

Power Delivery up to 100W at 20V/5A is supported when both the charger and the device negotiate that rate, so laptops and phones can charge at full speed through the extender. Data moves at up to 10Gbps over USB 3.2 Gen 2, moving large files in seconds rather than minutes. The link tops out at those limits; higher-wattage or faster-spec hosts will throttle to the cable’s ceiling.

4K video pass-through requirement

The extender carries DisplayPort Alt Mode video up to 4K at 3840x2160 and 1080p at 60Hz, but only when both the source and the display implement video output and input over their USB-C ports. If either end lacks Alt Mode support the cable falls back to data and charging only. It does not work with USB-A or USB Mini-B connectors.

Questions about this item

Will this 1.6 ft USB C extender work with my existing 2 m USB 3.2 cable without slowing the 10 Gbps link?

Yes, the extender is rated for USB 3.2 Gen 2 at 10 Gbps, so adding its 1.6 ft length to a compliant 2 m cable keeps the full 10 Gbps bandwidth as long as the total run stays within spec.

How can I verify the cable is delivering 100 W charging and 4K 60 Hz video after I plug it in?

Check your laptop or charger UI for a 100 W (20 V/5 A) power reading and confirm the external monitor shows 3840 × 2160 @ 60 Hz in its display settings.

What comes in the 2‑pack box and do I need any extra adapters for USB‑A or Mini‑B devices?

The box contains two 1.6 ft USB C male‑to‑female extension cables; no USB‑A or Mini‑B adapters are included and the cables cannot connect to those port types.
