Extended desk surface

The ESTONE WorldMap XL is a single large pad that covers an 800 by 300 millimetre area, giving space for a keyboard, mouse and other desk items. A smooth cloth surface sits on a natural rubber base that resists slipping on most tables. The pad is 2 millimetres thick and weighs 650 grams.

Cloth-on-rubber construction limits

The smooth fabric top works well with optical and laser sensors but offers no specialised coating for speed or control preferences. The rubber bottom grips dry surfaces yet can lose adhesion if the desk is wet or heavily textured. Liquid spills bead on the surface for easy cleanup, though the cloth layer will absorb moisture if left standing.

Upgrade from small or worn pads

Users moving from a standard office mat gain continuous tracking area for low-DPI gaming and broad arm movements. The stitched frame prevents edge fraying that typically appears on unstitched pads after months of use. Buyers who need a hard plastic surface, RGB lighting or a smaller footprint for compact desks will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

How do I decide whether the 800×300 mm size is right for my desk?

The pad measures 800 mm wide by 300 mm deep and is 2 mm thick, so it covers a broad area that fits a full-size keyboard and mouse side by side while leaving room for other desk items.

What does the 2 mm thickness feel like during daily use?

At 2 mm the pad adds a thin, firm cushion that levels minor desk imperfections without raising your wrists noticeably, giving a consistent glide for both gaming and office work.

How does the rubber base keep the pad in place on different surfaces?

The natural-rubber non-slip bottom grips wood, glass or laminate desks so the mat stays fixed during fast mouse swipes or heavy keystrokes.
