Questions about this item

When will the 1800mAh Ni-MH pack need replacing?

The pack carries a one-year manufacturer guarantee; typical Ni-MH cells last several hundred charge cycles before capacity drops noticeably.

What limits runtime during continuous recording?

The 4.32 Wh capacity sets the energy ceiling; sustained high-drain use will deplete the 1800mAh reserve faster than intermittent use.

Does the battery get hot or draw extra power during all-day use?

Ni-MH chemistry stays cool at normal camcorder loads; the pack has overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short-circuit protection to limit heat build-up.
