Replacement battery for DA transmitters

The Estry 1902NCP is a nickel-metal hydride pack built to match the original specifications for DA transmitter models including the 1902NCP, 200NCP, 175NCP, 202NCP, 302M and 7002M as well as the Receiver 1900. It delivers a nominal 4.8 volts and 300 milliampere-hours in a compact 58.35 by 21.07 by 10.91 millimetre case weighing 55.0 grams.

Interface and chemistry limits

As a standard Ni-MH cell the pack uses a simple two-wire connection and charges at a fixed 4.8 volts without any smart-bus communication or balance leads. The chemistry self-discharges faster than lithium types so the battery should be topped up before long storage periods and it cannot be fast-charged without a dedicated Ni-MH charger.

Capacity and voltage match

The single figure that decides fitment is the 300 milliampere-hour capacity at 4.8 volts giving 1.44 watt-hours; if the original equipment specifies a different capacity or voltage this pack will not provide the correct run-time or may not fit the battery compartment.
