Questions about this item

How much heat does the 3.7V 1000mAh Li-ion cell generate during continuous GPS navigation?

The 3.7Wh pack produces minimal heat under normal GPS load; its built-in protection circuit limits current to keep temperature rise low during all-day use.

What must I already own to install this 51.0 x 34.0 x 5.0mm replacement pack?

You need a compatible Garmin Nuvi 2598 LMTHD, Edge Touring Plus or Nuvi 2360LMT and a small screwdriver to open the battery compartment.

Will the 361-00035-02 part number work in my older Nuvi 2360LMT?

Yes, the cell matches part numbers 361-00035-02 and 361-00035-00, so it fits the Nuvi 2360LMT as well as the 2598 LMTHD and Edge Touring Plus.
