Direct replacement for ADT Impassa

This 7.2V nickel-metal hydride pack is built to the original dimensions of 101.4 x 68.3 x 17.2 mm and weighs 336.0 g. It delivers a rated capacity of 3700mAh for 26.64 Wh of energy. The cell includes overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short-circuit protection circuits.

Suits installers servicing Impassa wireless alarm

Technicians who need a drop-in spare with certified safety markings will find the ISO9001, RoHS, CE, UN38.3 and MSDS compliance useful. Buyers whose panels require a different voltage, chemistry or form factor should verify the exact model before ordering.

Capacity of 3700mAh at 7.2V

The 26.64 Wh rating determines how long the backup supply can sustain the alarm panel during a mains outage. Confirm that the original pack specifies the same voltage and capacity to ensure correct run-time and charging behaviour.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of this battery so I can check it fits the ADT Impassa panel?

The pack measures 101.4 x 68.3 x 17.2 mm and weighs 336.0 g, matching the original Impassa battery cavity.

How do I install the battery in the Impassa panel, and what is the common mistake?

Open the panel, disconnect the old pack, connect the new 7.2 V plug observing polarity, and secure the cover; the frequent error is reversing the connector.

When should I plan to replace this Ni-MH pack?

Expect roughly 3 to 5 years of service; the manufacturer rates the pack for one year and the 3700 mAh capacity will gradually decline with charge cycles.
