Replacement Battery for Zodiac S35 Remote

This 4.8V 2000mAh Ni-MH pack replaces the JAN-PVS35-BS cell used in the Zodiac S35 Remote and Polaris Sol 1000 pool cleaner. It delivers 9.6Wh of energy in a single 1-pack configuration. Pool owners needing a direct-fit replacement for a depleted original will find the voltage and capacity match the factory specification.

Steady Output During Extended Cleaning Cycles

Ni-MH chemistry provides a stable voltage curve across the full discharge, so the remote maintains consistent signal strength throughout long cleaning sessions. Built-in overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short-circuit protection guards the cells against the irregular charge patterns common in seasonal pool equipment. The 2000mAh rating supports prolonged operation between charges without sudden voltage drops.

Compact Sealed Pack With Certified Safety

The sealed housing measures 57.3 x 50.5 x 14.8mm and weighs 137.0g, matching the original form factor for a tool-free swap in the remote's battery compartment. RoHS compliance confirms the absence of restricted hazardous substances, while CE, ISO9001, UN38.3 and MSDS certifications verify transport and manufacturing safety standards. Buyers needing a different voltage, a higher capacity or a multi-pack bundle should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the 4.8V Ni-MH pack run warm during all-day pool-side use?

The 4.8V 2000mAh Ni-MH chemistry is designed for steady low-heat operation in the Zodiac S35 remote; normal use stays cool to the touch.

Must I already own the Jandy Zodiac S35 remote or Polaris Sol 1000 controller for this battery to work?

Yes — this pack replaces the original JAN-PVS35-BS cell and fits only the Zodiac S35 remote or Polaris Sol 1000 pool controller.

Will the 57.3 x 50.5 x 14.8 mm dimensions match the battery compartment of my older Zodiac S35 handset?

The pack is built to the exact original specifications, so it slots into the existing compartment of any compatible Zodiac S35 or Polaris Sol 1000 remote.
