Sustained output with protection circuits

The 14.4Wh cell delivers steady voltage under continuous draw thanks to built-in overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short-circuit safeguards. Ni-MH chemistry avoids memory effect so capacity remains stable across repeated cycles. Ideal for daily start-stop operation in municipal sweepers.

Upgrade from worn or lower-capacity packs

Replaces part numbers including 2055112, 983.6721, 983.6713, RNBB7215 and AF-HI40000M. The jump is worth it when the original pack no longer holds a full shift charge or shows voltage sag under load. Not for buyers needing higher voltage or lithium chemistry.

Questions about this item

Does the 7.2V Ni-MH pack run hot during long shifts on a Hiab XS Drive?

The 7.2V 2000mAh Ni-MH chemistry is designed for steady discharge in crane remotes; normal operation stays within safe temperature limits thanks to built-in overcharge, over-discharge and short-circuit protection.

What equipment must I already have to use this 2055112 replacement pack?

You need a Hiab Olsberg XS Drive, Olsberg DOH116A or Dulevo 5000 combi remote that originally takes a 7.2V 2000mAh Ni-MH battery with the same 102.2 x 58.9 x 27.6 mm footprint.

Will this 270 g battery fit the same compartment as my original 983.6713 cell?

Yes — dimensions of 102.2 x 58.9 x 27.6 mm and the 7.2V 2000mAh rating match the OEM 983.6713 / 983.6721 specifications, so it slots directly into the existing housing.
