Questions about this item

How do I install the 6.0V 1200mAh pack into a Deskjet 340 and which way round do the contacts go?

Open the printer's battery door, slide the pack in so the labelled side faces up and the connector pins meet the socket — the pack only fits one way, so do not force it.

When will the Ni-MH 7.2Wh pack need replacing and how should I store it if the printer sits idle?

Expect roughly one year of regular use; if storing longer than a month, charge to about half capacity and keep the pack in a cool dry place.

What is the first limit I will hit during continuous printing with this 212.0g battery?

The 1200mAh capacity will run down before any thermal or voltage protection activates, so plan for a recharge after extended print jobs.
