Replacement battery for Olympia cordless phones

This Estry CDP24106 pack replaces the original Olympia 3.6V 700mAh nickel-metal-hydride cell used in models CDP24106 CDP24406 CDP24201 CDP24206 CDP24999 and CDP24200. It matches the factory voltage and capacity so the handset charges and runs exactly as designed. Buyers needing a different voltage or chemistry will not be served by this cell.

Capacity and runtime headroom

The 700mAh rating delivers the talk and standby time the handset was engineered for, while the Ni-MH chemistry tolerates frequent partial charges without memory effect. Heavy users who drain the handset multiple times a day will reach the cell’s limit sooner and need a spare or a higher-capacity alternative if one exists for their model.

Interface and safety limits

The pack connects through the handset’s proprietary contacts, so no universal charger or USB port can be used. Built-in protection guards against overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short circuits, but the battery must stay within the 3.6V nominal range; any charger or device that exceeds that voltage will damage the cell.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.6V 700mAh Ni-MH pack run in my existing OLYMPIA CDP24406 handset without modification?

Yes, the pack is built to the original specifications for CDP24406 and the other listed models, so it fits and works without any changes.

How can I confirm the 3.6V 700mAh pack is performing correctly after I install it?

The handset should power on normally, hold a charge through regular talk and standby time, and show no low-battery warning during typical use.

Does the single 58.0g 48.46 x 31.16 x 10.67mm battery come with a charger or must I buy one separately?

The box contains only the 1-pack Ni-MH battery; a compatible charger is not included and must be sourced separately.
