Questions about this item

What runtime does the 700 mAh capacity give in a typical cordless phone?

The 700 mAh pack delivers 2.52 Wh at 3.6 V, which matches the original CP-1218 rating and restores the handset to its factory talk and standby times.

Does the 3.6 V Ni-MH pack charge correctly in the standard CP-1218 base station?

Yes, the chemistry and voltage are identical to the OEM cell, so the existing charger terminates at the proper voltage without modification.

Will the 50.79 × 42.4 × 14.23 mm case fit the battery compartment without forcing?

Those are the exact dimensions of the original CP-1218 pack, so it slides into the same cavity and the connector aligns with the handset contacts.
