Replacement Ni-MH battery

The Estry CTA300 is a 3.6V 700mAh Ni-MH cell built to match the original battery specifications for compatible devices. It delivers 2.52Wh of energy and measures 45.6 x 31.3 x 10.6mm at 61.0g. Who this suits and who it does not

This battery suits owners of equipment that uses the CTA300 model or part number and need a direct voltage and capacity match. Buyers whose devices require a different voltage, a higher capacity or a different chemistry should look at other options. The physical dimensions must match the available compartment space.

Deciding specification

The critical specification is the 3.6V 700mAh Ni-MH rating in the 45.6 x 31.3 x 10.6mm form factor. Only devices designed for this exact voltage, capacity and size will operate correctly with this replacement.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Estry CTA300 battery and what step is often missed?

Insert the 45.6 x 31.3 x 10.6 mm pack into the Columbia CTA300 compartment, matching the 3.6 V polarity markings; the step often missed is securing the latch until it clicks.

What maintenance or replacement will the 700 mAh Ni-MH pack need later?

The manufacturer rates the pack for one year of service; replace it when run-time falls noticeably below the original 2.52 Wh capacity.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the 3.6 V 700 mAh cell?

The 700 mAh capacity ceiling is reached first; continuous drain will deplete the 2.52 Wh rating before thermal or voltage protection activates.
