Compatible Vertex Radio Battery

The Estry FT10R is a 7.2V 2000mAh Ni-MH replacement pack built to original specifications for Vertex two-way radios. It suits operators who need a reliable spare or a direct swap for an ageing original cell. Safety circuits guard against overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short circuits.

Verify Model and Part Number

Confirm that your radio appears in the supported list: FT10R, VX10, FT40R, FT50R, FT-50R, FT-40R, VX-10 or FT-10R. Also match the battery part number to FNB-V49, FNB-47, FNB-V49H, FNB-V47IS, FNB-V47 or FNB-47H before ordering. The pack measures 84.0 x 67.0 x 35.0 mm and weighs 350.0 g.

Direct Replacement for Listed Packs

This unit replaces any of the Vertex part numbers above when the original no longer holds a full charge or shows reduced talk time. The jump is worth it when your current pack falls short of the rated 14.4 Wh capacity. Certifications include ISO9001, RoHS, CE, UN38.3 and MSDS.

Questions about this item

Does the FT10R battery come as a single unit or do I need to buy a charger separately?

The pack contains one 7.2 V 2000 mAh Ni-MH battery; a charger is not included and must be purchased separately.

My radio uses an FNB-V49H pack — is this FT10R the correct replacement?

Yes, the FT10R replaces FNB-V49, FNB-V49H, FNB-47, FNB-47H, FNB-V47 and FNB-V47IS part numbers.

What runtime can I expect from the 14.4 Wh rating on a typical two-way radio?

At 7.2 V the 2000 mAh cell stores 14.4 Wh; actual talk time depends on the radio's transmit power and duty cycle.
