Replacement Ni-MH cell for Grundig handsets

The Estry G6563 is a 1.2V 1800mAh nickel-metal-hydride battery built to match the original dimensions of 49.9 x 14.3 x 14.3mm and a weight of 52.0g. It fits Grundig models G6563, G6775, G6536, G6718, 4595, XENIC Typ 5545 and G5563. Buyers needing a different voltage or a lithium chemistry should look elsewhere.

Capacity and voltage determine fit

The single specification that decides compatibility is the 1800mAh capacity at 1.2V, yielding 2.16Wh. Only devices designed for this exact voltage and capacity will charge and run correctly. A higher or lower capacity cell will not suit the listed models.

Low self-discharge and certified safety

The pack includes overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short-circuit protection for stable operation. It carries ISO9001, RoHS, CE, UN38.3 and MSDS certification. Normal use produces minimal heat and no audible noise.

Questions about this item

How long will the 1800mAh capacity actually run my cordless phone?

The 1800mAh cell stores 2.16Wh at 1.2V; actual talk or standby time depends entirely on the handset's current draw, which varies by model.

What charging standard does the 1.2V Ni-MH chemistry require?

It needs a charger designed for 1.2V nickel-metal-hydride cells; the original base station or a compatible smart charger will terminate correctly and avoid overcharge.

Will the 49.9 x 14.3 x 14.3mm pack fit my Grundig G6563 handset?

Yes — those are the exact dimensions of the original pack, and the battery is listed as a direct replacement for the G6563, G6775, G6536, G6718, 4595, XENIC Typ 5545 and G5563 models.
