Compatible replacement battery

The Estry HT70 is a lithium-ion replacement battery rated at 14.4V and 2600mAh. It matches the original BAT3205A specifications and fits Newport HT70 and HT70 Plus models. Built-in protection guards against overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short circuits.

Users with a matching Newport device

This pack suits owners of a Newport HT70 or HT70 Plus who need a direct replacement for part number BAT3205A. Buyers with a different model or a different part number should look elsewhere because the connector and form factor will not match.

Voltage and capacity define fit

The single specification that decides compatibility is the 14.4V 2600mAh rating. If the original battery does not share these exact values, this unit will not work in the device.

Questions about this item

Does the HT70 battery require the original Newport BAT3205A charger to charge?

The battery replaces the BAT3205A pack and works with the charger that shipped with your HT70 or HT70 Plus.

Will the 14.4 V 2600 mAh pack fit alongside an older BAT3205A spare in the same charger?

Both packs share the 73.58 x 68.55 x 18.6 mm form factor so either fits the same charger bay.

How can I confirm the 37.44 Wh pack is healthy after the first charge?

The device should report a full charge and run for the expected runtime without triggering over-voltage or short-circuit protection.
