Direct replacement for Nuvi 2559LM and 2589LMT

This Estry lithium battery delivers 1000mAh at 3.7V and matches the original AI32AI32FA14Y part number. It is built to the same specifications as the factory cell and includes overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short-circuit protection. The pack measures 52.0 x 34.0 x 6.0mm and weighs 45.0g. It carries ISO9001, RoHS, CE, UN38.3 and MSDS certifications.

Confirm your device model

The battery fits Nuvi 2559LM, Nuvi 2589LMT 5-inch and Nuvi 2559LMT units only. Verify that the existing cell is labelled AI32AI32FA14Y and that the physical dimensions suit the compartment. This is a single-cell pack and is not intended for devices requiring a different voltage or capacity.

Steady output during extended navigation use

The protection circuit maintains stable voltage throughout long driving sessions rather than only in brief bursts. Certified to UN38.3 transport standards, the cell resists degradation from repeated charge cycles. It is designed for users who need reliable runtime on multi-hour trips, not for high-drain applications beyond the Nuvi series.

Questions about this item

Does the Estry battery ship with any tools or adhesive strips for the Nuvi 2559LM, or must I source them separately?

The pack contains only the 3.7V 1000mAh lithium cell; no tools or adhesive are included.

How do I confirm that the AI32AI32FA14Y part number matches the battery inside my Nuvi 2589LMT 5-inch unit?

Open the device and compare the printed part number on the original cell to AI32AI32FA14Y; they must match exactly.

What does the 1000mAh rating mean for daily runtime on a Nuvi 2559LMT?

At 3.7V the cell stores 3.7Wh, which typically powers a 5-inch Nuvi for several hours of continuous navigation before needing a recharge.
