Direct replacement for Hiab XS Drive

This 7.2 V nickel-metal-hydride pack delivers 2000 mAh and 14.4 Wh, matching the original H3786692 and HIA7220 specifications. It fits the XS Drive H3786692, AMH0627, AX-HI6692, XSDrive and XS Drive H3796692 units without modification.

Steady output under continuous draw

The chemistry maintains consistent voltage during extended operation of the remote drive system. Overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short-circuit protection circuits prevent cell damage when the pack is cycled repeatedly in daily service.

Drop-in installation with part-number check

The pack measures 120.5 x 47.5 x 21.75 mm and weighs 345.0 g, aligning with the factory battery cavity. Verifying the compatible model list and part numbers 378-6692 or HIA7220 before purchase avoids fitment issues; no soldering or adapter is required.

Questions about this item

Does the 7.2 V Ni-MH pack run warm or draw noticeable current when the Hiab XS Drive operates continuously?

The 14.4 Wh Ni-MH chemistry is designed for steady discharge with built-in over-current and short-circuit protection, so heat and power draw stay within normal limits during all-day use.

What must I already have on the Hiab XS Drive for this 345 g battery to connect and power the unit?

The pack uses the original factory connector for models H3786692, H3796692, AMH0627 and AX-HI6692, so the existing battery compartment and wiring in the XS Drive are all that is required.

Will this 2000 mAh replacement work alongside the older 378-6692 or HIA7220 cells I may still have in stock?

Yes — it matches the 7.2 V voltage and form factor of part numbers 378-6692 and HIA7220, so it can be swapped in without changing chargers or mountings.
