Drop-in replacement for Tempest beltpacks

The Estry TMP-R224 is a single lithium cell built to match the original equipment specifications for HME Tempest 2.4 GHz wireless beltpacks and the PLI beltstation. It targets technicians and venue operators who need a reliable spare or replacement without modifying the device.

1800 mAh capacity with protection circuitry

The 3.7 V cell delivers 6.66 Wh of energy, sufficient for extended talk time during productions or events. Integrated overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short-circuit safeguards help maintain cycle life and prevent damage from accidental misuse.

Fits existing battery compartment directly

Measuring 52.25 x 43.0 x 15.6 mm and weighing 66.8 g, the pack slots into the beltpack without adapters or cable changes. It is not suitable for devices requiring a different voltage, form factor or higher capacity than the original specification.

Questions about this item

Will this 1800mAh 3.7V battery fit the TMP-R224 Tempest 2.4GHz beltpack I already use?

Yes, the pack is built to the exact specifications of the original TMP-R224 cell and matches part numbers PBT-LIP-01, TMA-BAT-02, T-LP1 and 2GL-523450-G2107, so it slides into the existing beltpack without modification.

How can I verify the replacement is working correctly after I install it?

Power on the Tempest beltstation; the beltpack should boot normally and show its usual battery-level indicator, giving several hours of talk time from the 6.66Wh capacity before needing a recharge.

What comes in the box and do I need any extra parts to start using it?

The package contains one 52.25 x 43.0 x 15.6mm lithium pack weighing 66.8g; no charger, cables or tools are included, so use the beltpack’s existing charging dock or power supply.
