Exact replacement for Magnavox models

The Estry VR9240AV is a new 12.0 V 1800 mAh nickel-metal-hydride pack built to match the original specifications for Magnavox models VR9240AV, VR8484, CVK332, VR8455, 8292, VR8486, VR8456, VR8572 and VR8451. It delivers 21.6 Wh of energy in a 143.0 × 62.0 × 21.0 mm case weighing 540.0 g.

Capacity and runtime envelope

At 1800 mAh the pack comfortably powers the listed devices through typical daily cycles and includes over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short-circuit protection to extend service life. Runtime will fall short for applications that draw continuously above the rated capacity or demand longer intervals between charges.

Upgrade path and limits

The battery directly replaces the original equipment pack in the compatible Magnavox units, restoring factory runtime and safety performance. It is not suited for devices requiring a different voltage, chemistry or form factor, nor for users needing higher capacity than 1800 mAh.

Questions about this item

Will the 12.0 V 1800 mAh Ni-MH pack work in my older Magnavox VR8484 handset?

Yes, the replacement is listed as compatible with the VR8484 and eight other Magnavox models including VR9240AV and CVK332.

How can I confirm the battery is delivering the rated 21.6 Wh after the first charge?

Charge fully, then measure voltage under load; a healthy pack should stay near 12.0 V and provide run-time consistent with 1800 mAh capacity.

Does the box include a charger or only the 143.0 × 62.0 × 21.0 mm battery pack?

Only the battery pack is supplied; a compatible charger must be purchased separately.
