Compact Digital Scale for Home Cooks

The Etekcity EK6015 Mini weighs up to 11 lb in 1 g increments across five units including grams, ounces and millilitres. A tare button lets you zero the bowl weight so multiple ingredients can be measured in one container. The .6 in thick stainless steel platform fits easily in a drawer or cabinet.

Upgrade from Volume Measures

Replacing cup-and-spoon estimates with weight-based precision improves repeatability in baking, portion control and coffee brewing. The jump is worth it when recipes specify mass or when consistent results matter more than rough guesses.

Simple Setup and Care

Insert the two included AAA batteries and the scale is ready; no calibration or pairing is required. The 304 food-grade steel surface wipes clean with a damp cloth. Avoid submerging the unit or placing loads beyond the 11 lb limit to prevent sensor damage.

Questions about this item

How much clearance does the 0.6 in thick scale need inside a cabinet or drawer?

The scale measures 7.56 in x 6.18 in x 0.75 in, so allow at least those dimensions plus a small margin for the lid or drawer front.

What is the correct way to insert the 2 AAA batteries so the backlit LCD powers on?

Open the battery compartment on the underside, match the + and – marks exactly, insert both cells, then close the cover firmly until it clicks.

When should the 304 stainless steel platform be cleaned to keep it food-safe?

Wipe the platform with a damp cloth after each use; avoid submerging the scale or using abrasive cleaners that could damage the surface.
