Self-adhesive roof repair tape in a 2 inch by 50 foot roll, 60 mil thick
This Eternabond tape is a self-adhesive sealing product designed for roof maintenance and leak repair. It suits homeowners, maintenance crews and DIYers who need a permanent waterproof barrier on flat or low-slope surfaces. The 60 Mil thickness provides a robust membrane that conforms to irregular substrates without mechanical fasteners. It is not intended for structural bonding or high-temperature exhaust sealing.
The tape forms an airtight and watertight bond across a wide temperature range once pressed into place. No heat gun, primer or open flame is required during installation, so there are no fumes or hot-work permits to manage. The aggressive adhesive layer resists UV degradation and remains flexible through seasonal expansion and contraction cycles. Power draw and operational noise are not applicable to this passive material.
Each roll measures 2 inches wide by 50 feet long, letting you seal long seams, flashing edges or fastener penetrations with a single continuous strip. The narrow width fits tight corners and around rooftop equipment where wider membranes would wrinkle. No specialised tools beyond a hand roller or firm hand pressure are needed to activate the bond. It does not replace structural decking, insulation boards or full-roof membrane systems.

Clean the area thoroughly, cut the tape to length, remove the backing and press firmly with a roller to activate the adhesive and eliminate air pockets
Inspect the seal annually; if edges lift or the surface cracks, remove the damaged section and apply a fresh piece of the same tape
The adhesive bond weakens before the 60-mil backing fails, so edge lifting signals the need for replacement
