Extra-long USB-A to USB-C cable set

This two-pack supplies 15-foot cables with USB-A male to USB-C male connectors, coloured blue. Each cable is rated for USB 2.0 data at 480 Mb/s and up to 3 A charging current. The length suits desks, beds or sofas where the power outlet is far from the user.

Sustained charging and data behaviour

The integrated 56 kΩ resistor maintains stable conductivity during long charging sessions, protecting both the device and the power adapter. USB 2.0 throughput remains consistent at 480 Mb/s for file transfers, while the 18 W power ceiling (9 V/2 A or 12 V/1.5 A) is sustained only when the charger and phone both support the same profile. Video or media output is not supported.

Braided nylon build and daily use

A nylon-braided jacket resists tangling and is tested to survive more than 20000 bend cycles. The reversible USB-C plug inserts either way, reducing wear on ports. Buyers who need USB-C to USB-C fast charging, video output, or higher data rates such as USB 3.x will find this cable does not meet those requirements.

Questions about this item

Does the 15 ft cable get warm or draw extra power when charging at 3 A all day?

The cable uses copper conductors and a 56 kΩ resistor to keep conductivity stable at 3 A, so it stays cool during extended charging sessions.

What charger and port must I already have to use this USB-A to USB-C cable?

You need a USB-A wall charger that supports up to 18 W (9 V/2 A or 12 V/1.5 A) and a device with a USB-C port that accepts the same power profile.

Will this 480 Mbps USB 2.0 cable slow down an older phone that only has USB 2.0?

No, the cable matches USB 2.0 at 480 Mbps, so it delivers the full speed your older phone can handle without bottlenecking.
