Oversized Hammock Chair for Adults

The EVER ADVANCED HM-054 is a padded hammock camping chair built for adults who want a roomy seat with a gentle rocking motion. Its 31.5 inch wide seat surface allows cross-legged sitting and the detachable cup holder mounts on either armrest. The chair folds into a carry bag for transport to campsites, patios or indoor spaces.

Weight Limit and Frame Stability

The alloy-steel frame uses a triangular structure rated for 400 pounds maximum load; exceeding this limit risks structural failure. The chair weighs 14.81 pounds and measures 20 inches deep by 51 inches high when open, so the footprint must be clear of obstacles to allow the free swing motion without tipping.

Setup and Surface Requirements

Assembly requires lifting both frame ends until gravity locks the brackets, then attaching the padded polyester seat. The straight legs need a level, firm surface — soft ground or uneven flooring can prevent the automatic lock from engaging fully. Verify the 20.8 inch seat depth suits your posture before ordering.

Questions about this item

Is the 31.5 inch seat width the only size option for the HM-054?

Yes, the HM-054 is offered in a single 31.5 inch seat width with a 20.8 inch seat depth and 51 inch overall height.

How does the 400 pound capacity hold up when the chair is rocking on uneven ground?

The 400 pound rating applies when the triangular alloy steel frame is fully unfolded, locked and placed on level ground; always engage the gravity lock before sitting.

What assembly standard does the foldable frame use and does it require tools?

The chair uses a gravity-lock folding mechanism that snaps open in seconds with no tools required; simply lift both ends until the frame locks automatically.
