Ready-to-use emergency lighting

This four-pack of Eveready Mini LED flashlights ships with eight AA alkaline batteries installed so each unit works straight from the box. The cylindrical plastic bodies weigh roughly .66 pounds and measure 3.11 by 3.11 by 7.09 inches, making them easy to store in a drawer, glovebox or camping kit. A ribbed, non-slip grip and simple push-button switch let anyone operate the light one-handed in the dark.

Practical limits of the 25-lumen output

At 25 lumens the beam reaches about 35 metres and runs for 30 hours on the included cells, which suits close-range tasks such as reading, tent lighting or navigating a hallway during a blackout. The single-mode LED cannot be dimmed or strobed, so battery life is fixed at the rated runtime. The housing is not water resistant, so the lights must be kept dry in rain or damp conditions.

Check your kit before ordering

Verify that you accept a fixed 25-lumen beam with no focus adjustment or secondary modes, because this model does not offer them. Confirm that standard AA alkalines meet your replacement-battery preference, as the lights are not rechargeable and do not support lithium or NiMH chemistries in the specifications. Ensure the non-water-resistant rating matches the environments where you plan to use them.
