A plug-in module that adds wired network stacking to Catalyst 9200L switches
The EVESKY C9200L-STACK-KIT is a plug-in network stacking module built for Cisco Catalyst 9200L switches. It enables wired stacking so multiple switches operate as a single logical unit. Network administrators managing campus or branch LANs use it to simplify configuration and increase port density without extra uplink cables.
The module draws power directly from the host switch chassis and has no integrated fans. Heat dissipates through the switch’s existing airflow path, adding no audible noise. Because it operates as a passive plug-in card, its incremental power consumption remains within the switch’s normal budget.
Under continuous stacking traffic the module maintains line-rate performance across the dedicated stacking links. The passive design means thermal output stays constant regardless of load duration. It is not suited for environments that require hot-swap removal while the stack remains live.

Insert the plug-in module into the dedicated stacking slot on the rear of the Catalyst 9200L, then secure the captive screws; the step often missed is tightening both screws fully to seat the electrical contacts.
The module has no moving parts or consumables, so no scheduled maintenance is required; replacement is only necessary if the unit fails or the stack topology changes.
The practical limit is the stacking bandwidth and port density defined by the Catalyst 9200L chassis, which governs maximum throughput and the number of switches in the stack.
