  • 740 W total power budget supports full PoE load across all ports
  • 216 Gb/s switching capacity handles heavy traffic without bottlenecks

48-port Gigabit PoE+ switch

The EVESKY WS-C2960X-48FPS-L provides 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports with Power over Ethernet for access-layer deployments. It suits offices, campuses and branch sites that need to power phones, cameras and access points from the network core.

PoE budget and port mix

A 740 W power budget feeds 24 ports at up to 30 W PoE+ while the remaining 24 ports deliver up to 15 W each. All 48 ports can supply 15 W simultaneously, but only half the ports can reach the higher 30 W level at once.

216 Gb/s switching capacity

The fabric delivers 216 Gb/s of non-blocking throughput with a 107.1 Mpps forwarding rate, determining how much aggregated traffic the switch can move without congestion.

Questions about this item

Will the 48 PoE+ ports power my existing 15 W access points and 30 W cameras at the same time?

Yes, 24 ports deliver up to 30 W each for PoE+ devices while the remaining 24 ports supply 15 W, all within the 740 W total power budget.

Which front-panel LEDs confirm the switch is forwarding at the rated 107.1 Mpps?

The per-port link/activity LEDs blink with traffic flow, and the system LED stays solid green when the switching fabric is operating normally at 216 Gb/s capacity.

Do I need to order SFP transceivers separately for the four uplink ports?

The box includes the chassis, a blank module, rack-mount kit, power cord and console cable; SFP transceivers for the four Gigabit SFP ports are not supplied.
