24-Port Gigabit Switch with 10G Uplinks

The EVESKY WS-C2960XR-24TD-I is a 1U rack-mountable Catalyst 2960XR switch providing 24 RJ-45 ports at 10/100/1000 speeds plus two 10G SFP+ uplinks. It runs the IP Lite feature set for basic Layer 2-3 routing and stacking. Forwarding bandwidth reaches 108Gbps with 512MB RAM.

Ideal for Access-Layer Deployments

Suits networks needing dense copper connectivity with high-speed fibre uplinks and lightweight routing such as RIP, OSPF stub or HSRP. Not for buyers who require full Layer 3 tables, advanced security licences or PoE power on the downlink ports.

108Gbps Forwarding Capacity

The 108Gbps forwarding bandwidth is the single figure that determines whether the switch can sustain wire-speed traffic across all 24 gigabit ports and both 10G uplinks simultaneously.

Questions about this item

What bandwidth does the 108 Gbps forwarding capacity cap in practice?

The 108 Gbps forwarding bandwidth caps the total throughput across all 24 10/100/1000 ports and the two 10G SFP+ uplinks combined.

What rack depth does the 40.8 cm chassis require?

The 40.8 cm depth fits standard 1U rack shelves; allow extra clearance for SFP+ cables and rear power cords.

How is the IP Lite image activated, and what step is often missed?

IP Lite is pre-installed; the step often missed is enabling layer-3 features like RIPv2, OSPF stub, EIGRP stub, HSRP, VRRP or PIM in the CLI after boot.
