Enterprise Access Switch

The WS-C3850-24T-E is a 24-port managed rackmount switch from the Catalyst 3850 series designed for enterprise access-layer deployments. It provides full convergence between wired and wireless traffic on a single platform using an ASIC architecture.

Uplink Planning Required

This unit ships with 24 fixed 10/100/1000 copper ports and no modular uplink slots. Verify that your core or distribution layer has compatible SFP or SFP+ transceivers and cabling for the uplinks you intend to deploy.

Stackable ASIC Performance

The Unified Access Data Plane ASIC delivers consistent forwarding under sustained mixed wired and wireless loads without relying on burst buffers. Stackable operation allows the control plane to scale with traffic growth across multiple units.
