EVESKY

EVESKY WS-C3850-48T-E 48-port 10/100/1000 network switch

SKU CH-ZPRF-N9BAY

A 48-port 10/100/1000 managed switch with IP Services, stackable up to nine units at 480 Gpbs

  • 48 Gigabit ports connect dozens of wired devices
  • Layer 3 IP Services enable routing between VLANs
  • Stack up to nine units for 480 Gbps backbone
  • 1 RU enclosure fits standard rack cabinets
  • 4 GB RAM supports advanced switching features

Enterprise stackable Layer 3 switch

The WS-C3850-48T-E is a 1 RU managed switch that delivers 48 copper ports running at 10/100/1000 speeds. It runs the IP Services feature set and supports stacking up to nine units for simplified management across a wiring closet.

Modular uplink flexibility

Four network module slots accept 1 GbE or 10 GbE SFP uplinks so the same chassis can serve access-layer or aggregation roles. The chosen module determines uplink capacity without replacing the switch.

Rackmount build with high stacking bandwidth

A 1 RU enclosure fits standard racks and provides 480 Gbps of stack bandwidth between members. Front-to-rear airflow and redundant power supply support keep the stack running during module swaps or power events.

Questions about this item

Will the WS-C3850-48T-E require a fan replacement after extended operation?

The unit uses internal cooling fans; they are field-replaceable modules, so a worn fan can be swapped without removing the switch from the rack.

What limits throughput when all 48 ports run at 1000 Mbps continuously?

The 480 Gbps stack bandwidth and IP Services forwarding engine set the ceiling; sustained line-rate traffic on every port stays within that aggregate capacity.

How much power does the WS-C3850-48T-E draw and how loud is it under all-day load?

Typical draw is modest for a 1 RU stackable switch, and the variable-speed fans keep acoustic output low in a normal server-room ambient temperature.
