Product identity

The EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB GDDR5X graphics card is built on NVIDIA Pascal architecture and carries 3584 CUDA cores with a base clock of 1569 MHz boostable to 1683 MHz. It targets enthusiasts who want 4K gaming performance and compute acceleration in a single-slot design.

Suitability guide

This card suits builders who need 11 GB of GDDR5X memory on a 352-bit interface and require DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0b and DVI-D DL outputs for mixed monitor setups. Buyers who need newer memory standards, smaller form factors or different display connectors should look at other models.

Deciding specification

The 11 GB GDDR5X frame buffer combined with a 352-bit memory interface determines whether this GPU can hold the textures and datasets required for 7680 x 4320 resolution workloads.

Questions about this item

Will the 11 GB GDDR5X and 3584 CUDA cores still work with my older PCIe 3.0 motherboard?

Yes, the card is fully compatible with PCIe 3.0 slots and will deliver its 1569 MHz base and 1683 MHz boost clocks without requiring a newer platform.

How can I verify the iCX thermal sensors and three DisplayPort 1.4 outputs are active after installation?

Open EVGA Precision X OC to view live readings from the 9 onboard thermal sensors and confirm each DisplayPort 1.4 port drives a display at up to 7680 x 4320 resolution.

Does the box include the dual 8-pin power cables needed for the FTW3 ELITE, or must I buy them separately?

The package contains the graphics card, a quick-start guide and an EVGA Precision X OC software download code; the required dual 8-pin PCIe power cables come from your power supply, not the box.
