Hydro Copper Cooling

The EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti FTW Ultra Hydro Copper is a high-performance graphics card built for enthusiasts who demand liquid-cooled thermal management. It integrates a full-cover copper water block directly onto the GPU and memory, removing the need for a traditional air cooler. This design targets builders assembling custom loops who want maximum GPU performance without acoustic compromise.

Three 8-Pin Power Input

Installation requires a power supply with three available 8-pin PCIe connectors to meet the card's electrical demands. The pre-installed water block frees up multiple expansion slots that a bulky air cooler would otherwise occupy, simplifying routing for tubing and other components. DisplayPort and HDMI outputs handle display connectivity for multi-monitor setups or VR headsets.

12 GB GDDR6X Frame Buffer

The 12 GB GDDR6X memory buffer provides ample capacity for 4K gaming, high-resolution texture packs, and demanding creative workloads such as 3D rendering or video editing. It comfortably handles modern titles at ultra settings and supports GPU-accelerated applications that benefit from high bandwidth. Workloads exceeding the 12 GB limit will require texture streaming or reduced resolution to maintain performance.

Questions about this item

What is the 12 GB GDDR6X memory limit under sustained heavy workloads?

The 12 GB GDDR6X frame buffer is the first limit reached when textures and compute queues exceed capacity, causing data to spill to system memory and reducing throughput.

How much heat does the Hydro Copper block move during all-day operation?

The full-cover copper water block transfers the GPU, memory and VRM heat directly into your loop, so coolant temperature rise replaces fan noise as the primary thermal metric.

Which power connectors must my supply already provide for this card?

Three separate 8-pin PCIe cables are required; the board will not start unless all three are seated and the PSU can deliver the combined current.
