Core hardware and intended user

The Evoc L5501A is a 15.3 inch QHD+ gaming laptop built around an Intel Core Ultra 7-356H processor with 16 cores and a maximum turbo frequency of 4.7 GHz. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card equipped with 8 GB of GDDR7 video memory. The system targets users who want high frame rates at 2650 by 1600 resolution on a 165 Hz OLED panel while running Windows 11 Pro.

Build integration and thermal approach

The chassis uses a magnesium aluminium alloy for the top cover, palm rest and bottom case and measures 13.53 inches wide by 10.31 inches deep with a height between .63 and .78 inches, weighing 3.51 lbs. HIDevolution applies Gelid GC Extreme thermal interface material on both the CPU and GPU to lower operating temperatures under sustained load. Storage consists of two 4 TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSDs totalling 8 TB, and 16 GB of DDR5 5600 MHz memory runs in dual channel configuration.

Bundled upgrades and quality checks

The dealer installs the latest stable BIOS and drivers before shipment, then runs burn-in stress tests, benchmark validation, keyboard and touchpad verification, port functionality checks and a display inspection. A physical chassis review completes the quality control process. The laptop ships with Windows 11 Pro already activated and includes the FlexiCharger power adapter alongside Intel DTT and Intel APO software utilities.

Questions about this item

Will the 4.7 GHz turbo frequency hold during long gaming sessions?

The Ultra 7-356H reaches 4.7 GHz max turbo, and the Gelid GC Extreme thermal compound on both CPU and GPU helps sustain higher clocks by lowering core temperatures under continuous load.

How loud and hot does the chassis get when the RTX 5060 and Ultra 7-356H run all day?

Gelid GC Extreme on the processor and graphics chip reduces junction temperatures, allowing the cooling system to spin fans at lower RPM for quieter operation during extended heavy workloads.

Does the 16 GB DDR5 5600 MHz memory need to be upgraded for the RTX 5060 8 GB GDDR7 to perform properly?

The laptop ships with 16 GB dual-channel DDR5 5600 MHz; this matches the processor's supported speed and is sufficient for the RTX 5060's 8 GB GDDR7 frame buffer in current titles.
