15.3" QHD+ 165 Hz gaming laptop

The Evoc L5501A pairs a 15.3-inch OLED QHD+ panel at 165 Hz with an Intel Core Ultra 7-356H 16-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card. It ships with 96 GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD running Windows 11 Pro. The magnesium-aluminium chassis weighs 3.51 lbs and measures 13.53 by 10.31 by 0.63 to 0.78 inches.

Factory-applied Gelid GC Extreme thermal compound

HIDevolution applies Gelid GC Extreme to the CPU and GPU before shipment, lowering operating temperatures without user intervention. The laptop arrives with the latest stable BIOS and drivers installed, plus a full burn-in and stress-test report. No disassembly is required; the only common issue is the 2-5 working day lead time for this customised build.

96 GB DDR5-5600 dual-channel memory

The system includes two 48 GB DDR5-5600 modules running in dual channel, giving 96 GB total capacity for memory-intensive workloads and heavy multitasking. This is the single specification that determines whether the laptop suits your workflow; all other components are fixed in this configuration.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the 15.3" QHD+ 165Hz panel is running at its native 2650x1600 resolution and 165 Hz refresh rate after setup?

Open Windows Display settings and confirm the resolution shows 2650x1600 with the refresh-rate dropdown set to 165 Hz; the NVIDIA control panel will also list the RTX 5060 driving the panel at that mode.

What ships inside the box and which components must I source separately?

The laptop arrives with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed, 96 GB DDR5 5600 MHz memory in dual-channel configuration, a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD, and the RTX 5060 GPU with 8 GB GDDR7; no further parts are required for operation.

Which configuration should I choose if I need the 16-core Ultra 7-356H processor, 96 GB RAM, and 1 TB storage?

The single listed build — EVOC L5501A (L550JNN) part number EV-L5501A-HID16 — already includes the 16-core Ultra 7-356H, 96 GB DDR5, 1 TB NVMe SSD, and RTX 5060, so no alternative version selection is needed.
